Start a session when fishing begins and FishCastPro records route points from the device. When a fish hooks up, mark the event; once landed, create the catch record from the session.
That sequence gives the catch more accurate time and location context than entering everything from memory later.

Designed for an active deck
Large controls and a focused current-state panel reduce the amount of interaction required while trolling or working a fish. Manual route updates remain available when a device delays its next automatic point.
The map is a recording and planning aid. It is not a certified navigation system and must not replace charts, navigational equipment or safe seamanship.
Review the route after the trip
A saved track provides context for speed changes, passes, turns and catch events. Combined with the catch log and weather history, it helps turn a day on the water into information you can use on the next trip.
